Annual Gala & Festival of Trees - Nov 19, 2016
The Annual Gala dinner and auction was held on November 19th. It was a magical evening that was enjoyed by the many friends and supporters of Seattle Children's Hospital.
The proceeds benefit the Seattle Children's Autism Center and Uncompensated Care at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Festival of Trees Celebration - Nov 20, 2016, 1 - 4 pm
Our featured patients, friends and family to enjoyed entertainment provided by the St. Jude Parish Sanctuary Choir and the Seattle Girls' Choir.
They also listened to Christmas stories and enjoyed homemade cookies.
One of our our featured patients started the Celebration by lighting the Fairmont Olympic's grand lobby tree. Another featured patient opened the Teddy Bear Suite for the season.
Numerous holiday items, including wreaths, small trees, table decorations, and ornaments designed and crafted by our guild members especially for our guests were available for sale. The Children's Corner carried gifts of interest to our younger guests.

Fairmont Olympic Hotel Teddy Bear Suite
An enchanting room filled with teddy bears and holiday cheer. Open: Monday - Thursday, 11 to 5 and Friday - Sunday (and Christmas), 10 to 6. Open through Dec 27.
Thousands of locals and visitors alike flock to the Teddy Bear Suite at The Olympic Hotel as part of an annual holiday tradition. Brimming with Teddy Bears and professionally decorated by local interior designer Kevin Bradford, one of the hotel’s biggest suites is magically transformed into a teddy bear wonderland for kids and parents to enjoy. Donations taken at the suite benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Christmas Delight, the beautiful designer Christmas tree shown at right, was raffled at the Festival of Trees Celebration on Sunday, November 20th.
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit research at Seattle Children's Hospital to give children with serious illnesses the hope that the life-saving cures of tomorrow are within reach today.
